Beds were rock hard.

Thoroughly enjoyed our good sized and brand-new rooms, plus the staff was very amiable. The location was quiet and easy away from the town center and met standard. It was also just next door to the ruins with wonderful grounds, restaurants in Palenque centre and the pyramids and jungle.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and the staff was helpful. The hotel is in a great location, close to both the Palenque ruins and the beautiful jungle. After a long day of exploring in the extreme heat and humidity, it was so refreshing to jump into the pool and enjoy some margaritas.

Large suite, peaceful pool in the back. Scarlet Macaws seen nearby. Bakjim restaurant within walking distance. Okay food at the hotel. Good location, easy to find. Room changed promptly when needed. Well-maintained grounds.

The grounds of Villa Mercedes were absolutely stunning, with beautiful gardens and a fantastic pool area. The location just outside the Palenque ruins was perfect for exploring, and it was easy to travel to downtown with plenty of transportation options available. The food, while not amazing, was decent and there were also great dining options in town.

During my stay, I did experience some discomfort with the lack of A/C in the restaurant, but it was only a minor inconvenience. I had a great time at Villa Mercedes and would definitely recommend it to others.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The on-site restaurant was excellent, and the two pools were a great way to relax after a day of exploring. The bungalow we stayed in was beautiful and the infinity pool was the perfect place to relax. The poolside bar service was great, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location of the hotel, near the Palenque ruins, was another added bonus. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and memorable stay in Palenque.

We stayed during Thanksgiving and the complementary pie and wine were nice touches. The location, close to the ruins and downtown, made it easy to get around. We also enjoyed the pool after a long day of sightseeing.
